Founded by two single mothers who invested their life savings, this Colombian café has blossomed from a mere survival strategy into a thriving culinary enterprise that has captured the hearts and palates of Dubai's diverse community.
What started as a desperate attempt to provide for their children has evolved into a sanctuary of opportunity for dozens of women facing similar circumstances. The founders understood firsthand the unique challenges single mothers face in the workforce—the juggling of childcare, the struggle for fair wages, and the quest for dignity in employment.
"We began with just a few traditional recipes from our homelands," shares one of the founders. "We never imagined that our small leap of faith would create ripples of change for so many families. Every batch of dulce de leche we prepared was infused not just with ingredients, but with prayers and hopes for our children's futures."
